!PPPServ is used to set up the PPP link between the Acorn and PC. Since, a PPP link is being setup, the IP addresses for each machine are being setup too. These IP addresses are hard wired into the PPPServ program, so it may be necessary to modify these entries, if you are using alternate addresses. A screenshot and instructions for doing this is as follows:

PPPServ Configuration Screenshot

1) Open the file !PPPServ.!RunImage
2) In the 2nd and 3rd line you will see two IP addresses.
3) In the myip line replace the IP address with the Acorn's host name, riscpc.
4) In the remoteip line replace the IP address with the PC's host name, novapc.
5) Save the file. PPPServ is now ready for use.

It may be necessary to alter the value of speed% variable, which is located under the IP address lines, to 9600 if you are using Windows.

Remember to read the accompanying !Help file with !PPPServ, it contains instructions that you may need to follow before using the application.
