**Make sure the null modem cable is plugged in, on both computers.**

RISC OS Instructions:

1) Ensure that !Internet has been run. If you have the new Boot structure, then it is run automatically, otherwise double click on the !Internet icon.

2) Ensure that !System has been seen by the computer.

3) Double click on the Samba Server icon, to run the program. (Configure Samba, if you have not already done so, according to the Samba manual ).

4) Double click on the !PPPServ program.

5) Now carry out the PC instructions.

PC Instructions:

1) Double click on the My Computer icon on the desktop. In the resulting window double click on Dial-Up Networking.

2) Double click on the Serial Network icon, and in the resulting window, double click on Connect.

3) The link should now be active.

4) In any explorer window just type in \\riscpc, and the shared parts of your Acorn (which were set up in Samba), should appear.
